If you do get lost or miss your turning in any towns or villages, the easiest way out is to follow the ‘Toute Directions’ or ‘Autres Directions’ signs. This will then bring you to the exit out of town and you can follow the correct signpost. Most of the exits on the motorway are clearly signposted but some exits also serve as a route for traffic joining the motorway. Please indicate well in advance that you wish to exit and change lane. Remember that vehicles leaving the motorway have priority over those vehicles wishing to join the motorway and please give way to your LEFT when approaching the roundabouts. BEFORE YOU EMBARK ON YOUR ROUTE, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IF YOU ARE GOING TO ARRIVE IN FRANCE IN THE EVENING IT IS RARE TO FIND FUEL STATIONS MANNED AFTER 7PM. After this time they use 24 hour pumps taking French charge cards - they do NOT normally take UK cards. The cheapest places to get fuel are at the large supermarkets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have a safe and pleasant journey through the French countryside and we look forward to seeing you here!! Bonne Route Simone and Peter
